Steve Allen

President/Plant Manager

As President and Plant Manager, Steve is committed to growing CGS Machine  & Tool into the “go-to” place for local manufacturers, as well as surrounding states.  With 30 years experience in the machine and fabrication industry, he has spent the past 19 years working toward reaching his goals for CGS Machine & Tool. Steve, a 1988 Murray State University graduate, majoring in business, believes it takes drive, commitment  and skill to succeed in today’s business world, along with dedicated employees and the right management team.

Frankie Skipworth

Plant Foreman

​Frankie started his employment with CGS Machine 17 years ago as a machinist and was promoted to Plant Foreman. As foreman, Frankie works closely with Steve on a daily basis, to ensure customers receive their parts on time and the workmanship is of the highest quality.  Some of his duties include directing 30+ employees, dealing directly with customers, quoting, purchasing, and as with a job shop, whatever it takes to best serve our customers.

Mike Carey

Production Foreman – Plant 2

Mike began his employment with CGS having 13 years in machining and Quality Control.  When it became apparent that one of our largest customers needed to be handled as a production run with many different parts, Mike became the Production Foreman which involves the scheduling, purchasing of material, directing 20+ employees and being the contact person for the customer.


Susan Stallins

Customer Service/Accounts Payable

​A native of Princeton, KY, Susan moved to Bowling Green in October 2006. With more than two decades of experience in customer service, she joined CGS Machine & Tool in 2007, handling Accounts Payable, customer calls, processing quotes and jobs.


Amy Sneed


Coming from the automotive industry, Amy now works as an accounting specialist at CGS Machine & Tool. She is instrumental in the daily procedures of accounting including job costing, invoicing, payroll and monthly financial reports.
